c. 1884. Very good with a couple small stains to cover and minor moisture stains at the edges of some of the last pages. There may be an occasional small tear in the fold-outs. Front hinge is starting to crack. Binding is solid. Red cloth with marbled edges. Subjects covered in this volume include "The Combination Anvil in Small-arm Cartridges", "Machine-Guns", "Account of the Construction of Bridges over the Kabul River, Near Jalalabad, During the Operations in Afghanistan" and more. Of major intrest is Ordnance Notes #330 "Mars-La-Tour and Gravelotte", Battles of the Franco-Prussian War, with 29 fold-out maps of the battles, approximately 16" x 20". The first 13 cover Mars-La-Tour from the evening before the battle and at various times from 9AM to 7PM. The remain 16 cover Gravelotte the two previous evenings and hourly from 8AM to 9PM. There many additional fold-out diagrams for the other notes in the volume.

This is an 18 pg booklet consisting entirely of colored illustrations of German military uniforms and accessories. Captions are in German. There is no publisher information. There are two minor stains on cover, but generally it is very good condition.
